Kacper Przybylko scored in the 63rd minute and the Philadelphia Union held off Inter Miami for a 2-1 victory on Tuesday night in the MLS is Back tournament. It was Union's second win in two games in the World Cup-style tournament played without fans at ESPN's Wide World of Sports complex at Walt Disney World. Kai Wagner put Philadelphia up early with a goal in the fifth minute, a blast from distance that went into the far corner.

After dropping points in disappointing fashion, Manchester United look to regroup and continue their top-four push Thursday when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The stakes for Champions League spots were raised earlier this week when the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned UEFA's two-year ban of Manchester City from European play. The deposed champions have already claimed one of those places along with new title-holders Liverpool, leaving United (16-11-8) among five teams vying for spots to Europe's top two club tournaments.

Chris Mueller scored twice in the opening 10 minutes and Orlando City won its second game of the MLS is Back tournament, beating New York City FC 3-1 Tuesday night. Mueller got his first in the fourth minute, scoring on a free kick from Joao Moutinho that never hit the ground. Mueller has three goals in the tournament.

Chicago Fire rookie Mauricio Pineda struck a late winner to leave Seattle Sounders' hopes of success at Major League Soccer's restart tournament hanging by a thread on Tuesday. Pineda's 84th-minute strike secured a 2-1 victory for Chicago, sending coach Raphael Wicky's side to the top of Group B in the World Cup-style tournament at Orlando, Florida. Seattle have just one point from two games and are third in Group B, outside of the automatic qualification places.

Mario Pasalic scored a hat-trick as Atalanta brushed aside struggling local rivals Brescia 6-2 to move second in Serie A on Tuesday. Gian Piero Gasperini's side extended their unbeaten league run to 13 games to move six points behind leaders Juventus who visit eighth-placed Sassuolo on Wednesday. Inter Milan and Lazio are two points behind Atalanta before they play against SPAL and Udinese respectively later this week.
